Meeting on 22 April 2012

Hello All Members of Saraswati Kunj Society!

A meeting of the Members Action Forum is being held on 22 April 2012 at Jangid Brahmin Samaj, Sati Math, Block B2, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, near the DAV Public School.

The meeting will be at 1100 am. All are requested to please attend.

a meet was held by Members Action Forum for the Saraswati Kunj Society members on 18 Sep 2011 at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

Members Action Forum panel was chaired by Mr Madan. Mr Yadav informed the attending members of the following important points:-

1. The High Court had directed that the elections be postponed so that only the authorised and legal members as per society bye law 20 (d) can vote. That is only those members who have fully paid their dues towards a plot are eligible to vote.

2. The members list (who have fully paid) was directed by the court to be drawn up. This list is to be made by the Registrar of Coop Societies, Gurgaon. The list has not been finalised as yet.

3. The elections can be held only when this list is finalised and presented to the court.

It is important that all the members are aware of their rights and take active part in such meetings so that unscrupulous elements like R G Sharma, I Hasan or D K Goel or Meena Sood can not ruin the chances of the members getting plots.

R G Sharma and I Hasan are not even members as per the bye law 20 (d) of the society since they have not paid the full amount. They are members after having paid only Rs 200/-!!

the elections have got stayed by the High Court of Haryana. the next date of hearing is on 10 Feb 2011. Fresh status would be known only after that.

Elections for Saraswati Kunj Housing Society committee on 31 Jan 2011

it is requested to all members that please choose the Saraswati Kunj Housing Society committee members very carefully. 

our goal must be to have a committee that is pro-allotment, pro-action and pro-members. 

all aspiring committee contenders must make public their manifesto and intentions.  


- Firstly and foremost, a general body meeting must be the immediate action on their plan. 
- The aspirants must make available their time-wise action plan for allotments. 
- Complete transparency of actions through websites must be part of the action plan.  The website must give the 
  members details of the activities of the committee meetings. General Body Meetings must have their minutes
  circulated to all members.
- Aspirants and committee members must be accessible. 
- The Saraswati Kunj Society must have a full six-day working office with competent office bearers.
also, all must ensure that the current committee members must be evaluated on their performance. only then should anyone be given a second term.  We must elect committee members who are answerable to the society members and not be under pressure of any lobbies / vested interests / groups.

ALL SOCIETY MEMBERS MUST AVOID MAKING THE MISTAKES OF THE LAST ELECTION AND END UP HAVING CORRUPT AND DIS-UNITED MEMBERS!
